Lovely place to enjoy the evening. Food is costly and not at all value for money bt still, if U wish to spend a good evening on the Ganga River, U can give it a try.

Really unique hotel & restaurant in Kolkata… the restaurant is on a floating ship on the Ganga river! Love the nautical themed decor and great views of the historic river. The service and staff is great, and the food is top notch as well. A unique and memorable experience to be had in Kolkata!

Mind blowing place, specialy atmosphere

The floating hotel. One needs to cross a railway line to enter the lobby and then go to the ship which is permanently anchored and has the rooms. Since space is at premium the room size is very small but is generally comfortable. You can see Hooghly touching your rooms and we had a view of both the Howrah Bridge and the Vidyasagar bridge from our window. The steamers keep passing by on their ride and you suddenly realize strangers peeping into your room through the window - it is that close. They had an amazing collection of tea Darjeeling supplied from Dolly Tea and I had to ask for refills of tea sachets.

I wish the service was as good as the view. The ambience is good but the service was poor. For a price that high, I would hope for better service.

Amazing buffett lunch. It was a delight to have such variety in the buffet spread. You will feel this as a value for money.Dharmendra was outstanding with the service.A must visit for the people who want to explore the heritage of the city.

One of a kind place to unwind with great food, nice ambience, polite service, and unique location on a refurbished barge moored on the Ganges, minutes away from the central business district. The outdoor seating area is awesome, with cool river breeze and a breathtaking view of the river for company. Quality of food is top notch, serving one of the best mezze platter in the city. However, cocktail presentations, though creative, somehow miss the mark of leaving a lingering aftertaste and yearning for one serving more. And yah, the place has one of the cleanest and best maintained washrooms, an oft ignored but a very important consideration for a place worth a repeat visit. Kudos.

Wow, the atmosphere is awesome. You can feel the cool and soothing breeze of holy Ganges while enjoying the meal with your near and dinner in the deck of the boat. The food is also awesome, specially the nonveg like fish, ilish, chingdi. Overall experience was wonderfall.
